Can I get a green card through Temporary Protected Status?

No, the purpose of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) is to provide temporary refuge for nationals of countries where conditions are so poor that it is unsafe to return immediately.

It is a temporary status and does not provide a path to permanent residence in the United States.

However, you may now be, or later become eligible for a green card on some other basis. This could be, for example, because of marriage to a U.S. citizen, a job offer and sponsorship by a U.S. employer, or a grant of asylum.
