When does my current DACA and work permit expire?

Follow

DACA work permits, known formally as Employer Authorization Cards, are provided for two-year periods.

You can find the expiration date on:

  • I-797, Notice of Action under "Notice Type"
  • Work Permit (sample below) next to "Card Expires"

As part of the expanded DACA announced by President Obama on November 20, 2014, DACA work permits may be granted for a three-year period in the future. President Obama's executive action is being challenged through the court system.
